Getting started

This quick guid will get you up and started with development on Merlin. All required tools are preinstalled on any Merlin incl. git, go, OpenCV etc.

Please make sure that your Merlin is connected to the internet as described in

This getting started guide uses The Go Programming Language. Go is easy to learn, generated reasonably fast executables, is portable and well suited to program the Merlin system.

1. Check out the source code from the public repository
   git clone git@bitbucket.org:Zeisberg/gomerlin.git

2. Enter the source code folder
   cd gomerlin/

3. Run a simple example
   go run cmd/monostream/main.go monostream
