Control elements on the home screen
Goggle adjustment
Place the goggle on the patients head and observe the eye monitor. The goggle shall be placed such that the eye is fully visible and the pupil is within a boarder of ~25% of the image edges. Tighten the headband. The dial on the headband shall be placed high on the rear head.
The headband must be fastened tightly so that the goggles cannot slip during the head impulse.
Eye monitor
The eye monitor always displays the current image of the eye, the red border indicates that the right eye is displayed.
The video image is initially displayed in full resolution.
By clicking / tapping on the pupil, the video image is enlarged to the area around the pupil (the clicked position). This is required to carry out a measurement! |
By clicking/tapping on the video image again, the full view is displayed again. You can then center the video image again by clicking/tapping on the pupil. This is also possible during the test.
For stable eye tracking, the pupil must be clearly visible!
Please use the controls for brightness and focus to adjust the image quality. Ensure that the patients eyes are open wide and the eyelids to not interfere with the pupil.
The marker (+) in the pupil must be reasonably stable centred in the pupil.
Brightness control
The brightness control can be used to adjust the brightness of the picture if required.
Focus control
The focus control can be used to adjust the sharpness of the image.
Head monitor
The head monitor shows the orientation of the subject's head in space.
After you have put the video goggles on the patient, please instruct them to sit upright in front of the gaze target and to direct their head and gaze straight at the gaze target. The white indicator at the top right shows that the head zero point has not yet been set.
Click / tab on the head monitor to adopt the patient's current head alignment as the zero position. The 3D avatar shown is drawn with a straight view of the zero head position. The green Indicator at the top right shows that the head zero point has been set. |
