Switch on device KA450

The appliance can be switched on and off using the rear power switch (1). The operating status is indicated by the position of the switch (1).

Position "0" means: The appliance is switched off and all poles are disconnected from the mains supply.

Position "1" means: The appliance is switched on and connected to the mains supply.

The green "Mains" indicator light on the front panel also indicates to the examiner that the device is switched on.

Please note!

Please allow the device to warm up for at least 5 minutes after switching it on before starting the hearing tests.
If the display is difficult to read or no characters are visible, use the rear control to adjust the display. "LCD contrast" to set the desired contrast. Depending on the version, the LCD contrast control can be operated either by hand or with a suitable screwdriver (blade size: 3.0 x 0.6 mm).

Warning!

Before changing application parts such as headphones, bone conductors, earphones, etc., be sure to switch off the device.
Remove all application parts such as headphones, bone conductors, earpieces, etc. from the patient or user before switching the device on or off.
