Das VU-Meter Menü dient der Einstellung der Eingangsempfindlichkeit des Eingangs für eine externe Sprachquelle sowie der Mikrofoneingänge für das extern Hinsprechmikrofon und das Rücksprechmikrofon.
Nach Auswahl eines der genannten Eingänge wird auf dem LC-Display (55) die aktuelle Eingangseinstellung (PGA-Wert 0..255) dargestellt. Weiterhin enthält das Display die Angabe der aktuellen Aussteuerung die das Signal am gewählten Eingang derzeit verursacht. Diese liegt im Bereich von -20 dB bis +3 dB und wird am unteren Bildschirmrand zusätzlich grafisch dargestellt.
