VU Meter KA450

The VU meter menu is used to set the input sensitivity of the input for an external voice source and the microphone inputs for the external intercom microphone and the rear microphone.

After selecting one of the inputs mentioned, the current input setting (PGA value 0..255) is shown on the LC display (55). The display also shows the current level that the signal is currently causing at the selected input. This is in the range from -20 dB to +3 dB and is also shown graphically at the bottom of the screen. The inputs must be set so that there is a level of 0 dB when the respective reference signal is present.
