Cleaning

The appliance must be kept as clean and dust-free as possible.

  • Dust can be removed with a soft brush or paintbrush.

  • The housing and control panel are best cleaned with a damp cloth using a mild cleaning agent or a commercially available plastic cleaner.

  • Make sure that no moisture gets inside the appliance.

  • Do not exert any pressure on the display, mirror, camera filter, LEDs or face cushion when cleaning.

Batteries are installed in the side arms of the glasses. Please also ensure that no moisture penetrates this area.

Disinfection

The goggles must be cleaned and disinfected before and after each patient use. Wash your hands before and after handling any parts of the goggles.

For disinfection, we recommend the use of disinfectant wipes with a low alcohol content (70% isopropyl alcohol solution, 30% purified water), e.g. https://www.schuelke.com/de-de/produkte/mikrozid-universal-wipes-premium.php. Ensure a contact/treatment time of 5 minutes, following the recommendation of the cleaning and disinfecting product used.

NO SPRAY DISINFECTION!

For cleaning the infrared mirrors and the infrared filters of the cameras, we recommend https://hno.shop/products/reinigungstuch-spiegel-merlinwhich also have a bactericidal, tuberculocidal, levurocidal and limited virucidal effect.

Do not use cleaning agents containing solvents. Such cleaning agents can attack plastics and damage the coating of the IR mirrors/filters.

Ensure removal of any disinfectant from the goggle to avoid skin irritation.
