The ip address that the hl7 server opens for incoming (ORM) messages.
“0.0.0.0” works on all local network interfaces
127.0.0.1 is a local loop back device that usually just allows communication within the local host.
localhost is normally the host name for 127.0.0.1 (mapped in /etc/hosts).
Both therefore would restrict communication to the local host.
It is possible to restrict communication to a specific interface.
