Metrological control (MTK) KA450

The device is subject to the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV). According to §11 (MPBetreibV), the KA450 must therefore be subjected to an annual metrological check. The metrological check includes the following tests:

• Function check

• Visual inspection

• Check and, if necessary, adjust the pressure force of the headband

• Testing the frequency accuracy of the test tones

• Distortion factor measurement of air and bone conductors

• Checking and, if necessary, adjusting the test levels for air and bone conduction at all test frequencies

• Attenuator test

• Measurement of free field equalization (if required)

• Checking and, if necessary, adjusting the test levels for the air duct and free field for speech

• Final subjective audiometer check

• Test report on the measurements carried out for filing in the device logbook
