Cleaning the KA450 and disinfecting the applied parts

The appliance should be kept as clean and dust-free as possible. Before cleaning the appliance with a damp cloth, please switch it off and disconnect it from the power supply if necessary.

• Dust can be removed with a soft brush or paintbrush.

• The housing and control panel are best cleaned with a damp cloth using a mild cleaning agent or a commercially available plastic cleaner. Avoid getting moisture inside the appliance.

• Never apply pressure to the display area when cleaning.

The head and bone receiver and the patient handset are in constant contact with the patient. To avoid cross-infection, they should therefore be cleaned after every examination.

For disinfection, we recommend the use of disinfectant wipes with a low alcohol content (70 % isopropyl alcohol solution, 30 % purified water), e.g. Willkommen bei schuelke - schülke. Ensure an exposure time of 5 minutes in accordance with the recommendation of the cleaning and disinfecting agent used.
