Setting up the KA450 speakers

The speakers can be positioned in different ways. A position of ±45° to the reference axis at a distance of one meter from the reference point is usual, so that the speakers are 1.41 m apart and the patient is 0.7 m away from the "wall" (connecting line between the speakers):

For special tests, it may be necessary for the patient to look at one loudspeaker from the front and the second loudspeaker, rotated by 90°, to be aimed directly at one ear:

The above speaker configuration is used to determine the ILD / BILD (Intelligibility Level Difference / Binaural Intelligibility Level Difference) for OLSA.
